We are an independent, nonprofit childcare and school facility committed to providing an excellent education for children, Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Coupled with the teaching of highly qualified Christian teachers, this commitment to academic success has become a distinguishing feature of Kingdom Kidz and Christian Tabernacle School in the North Channel area of Houston.

Founded in 1989, under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Dr. Richard A. Heard, we believe in the God-ordained destiny of your child. With dedicated teachers, a caring staff, challenging curricula, wholesome athletics, arts, and high expectations, we’re believing the Holy Spirit will empower us to help students achieve their highest potential.

Kingdom Kidz

Kingdom Kidz, a year-round, licensed childcare facility, enrolls children 3 through 14 years of age. We also offer transportation to and from local schools (call for more info).

To enable students to achieve our lofty goals, your child will:

• be encouraged to make positive choices based on principles from the Word of God.
• develop critical thinking skills, sensory perceptions, and motor skills.
• learn to explore and identify their feelings, attitudes, and behavior.
• learn to identify appropriate actions and reactions, and to show respect for themselves and others.

Christian Tabernacle School

C.T. School, Pre-Kindergarten to 3rd grade, provides a safe learning environment for children to study, develop, and play. In such a friendly atmosphere, they are encouraged to fulfill God’s purpose and plan for their lives. By utilizing the popular A Beka Curriculum, students can receive the one-on-one attention they deserve.

The members of our staff agree that God has designed a special purpose and plan for every child. We believe that each of them has unique talents and abilities that will certainly blossom when exposed to a strong Christian environment.

Ordinary Chapel services, for many students, have become life-changing events. When a child is touched by God’s Spirit at an early age, His presence can so easily be transferred to families and friends.
